System Activity

  • Check-in history

  • Event sequence triggers

  • Operate and personalize your Posthumy dashboard

  • Securely store and schedule delivery of your legacy content

  • Automate check-in reminders and executor notifications

  • Facilitate message and file dispatch upon verified confirmation of your passing

  • Improve platform functionality and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. Ever.

3. Who Can Access Your Data

Your legacy data is only accessible by:

  • You (the account owner)

  • Nominated executors (after confirmation of your passing)

  • Designated recipients (only after event triggers are verified)

Our internal team may access data only for technical support or system audits, under strict confidentiality and encryption protocols.

4. How We Protect Your Data

  • All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest

  • Passwords are hashed and stored securely

  • Files are hosted via secure third-party cloud storage providers (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Cloudinary)

  • Scheduled messages and content are only released after dual-step executor confirmation

  • Admin access is role-restricted and logged

5. Third-Party Services

We use carefully selected third-party tools to run Posthumy, including:

  • Stripe / Wix for payment handling

  • SendGrid / Postmark for email notifications

  • Twilio for SMS-based executor alerts

  • Google Analytics / Hotjar for site usage insights (anonymized data)

These tools comply with major privacy laws (POPIA, GDPR, CCPA) and are under strict data protection agreements.

  • Update or delete content or recipients

  • Delete your account and permanently erase all associated content
