  • Can I update my messages or content later?
    Absolutely. You can edit, update, or delete your messages, tasks, and uploaded files at any time from your user dashboard.
  • Who are “Confirmation Officials”?
    These are three trusted people (friends, family members, colleagues) that you nominate to confirm your passing. They don’t see your private content — they simply verify when it’s time for your legacy to be delivered.
  • How does posthumy know when to send my messages?
    Each month, we’ll send you a gentle check-in via email. If we don’t hear back after 3 reminders, we contact the three trusted people you’ve nominated as Confirmation Officials. Once your passing is confirmed by at least two of your Confirmation Officials, your scheduled messages and content are delivered to the right people, respectfully and automatically.
  • Can I link my social media accounts?
    Yes. Posthumy lets you securely store your login credentials for any online platforms like Email, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and more. You can assign someone to manage, close, or send farewell messages on your behalf.
  • Is my information secure?
    Yes. All your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only your recipients will ever see your messages, and only after your passing has been respectfully confirmed.
  • What happens if I die after paying for an annual plan?
    Your subscription continues working in the background to deliver your content as planned. Because our system still fulfills your legacy, no refunds are issued if you pass away during an active annual plan.
  • What’s the difference between a message, a note, and a task?
    Notes (posthuNotes) are short, heartfelt messages. Messages (posthuMents) are often longer, for specific events like birthdays, anniversaries etc. and can include media like video or voice. Tasks (posthuTasks) are instructions for someone to carry out on your behalf. Each of these can be assigned to the same or different people.
  • How do I get started?

  • Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
    Yes, you can cancel anytime. If you cancel within 7 days of creating your account, you're eligible for a full refund. After 7 days, all subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • What is posthumy?
    Posthumy is a secure digital platform that allows you to leave behind personal messages, instructions, and important files that will only be delivered to your loved ones after your passing. It’s your voice, delivered when it’s needed most.
  • Who sees my messages and files?
    Only you and the recipients you’ve chosen. All content remains encrypted and private until the time comes — and is only shared with the people you’ve specifically assigned to receive it.
  • What happens if I miss a check-in, but I’m still alive?
    Don’t worry — missing a check-in won’t trigger your legacy delivery. We’ll always contact you a three times before ever reaching out to your three Confirmation Officials. Only when at least two from the three Confirmation Officials confirm your passing by date of death, will we begin delivering your messages. It’s a careful and respectful process designed with your peace of mind in mind.
